In terms of retention and persistence toward graduation, Figure 5.1 shows that 93.75 percent of students who participated in both the Ignite Summit and Ignite Teams in 2010 persisted to their sophomore year compared with roughly 92 percent of the Ignite Summit and Ignite Teams participants in 2009. These numbers are substantially higher than the numbers for the nonparticipants, which hovered around 80 percent during the same time period.
